“Silence becomes cowardice when occasion demands speaking out the whole truth and acting accordingly.”
Our globe has always been moving, shaking, quaking, and melting. Our popluation is heading up to full capacity at 7.5 billion thus we are definitley going to feel the growing pains and suffer the effects of our intrusive footprint upon it.
Modern technology and the internet has brought our much of our world together, we are no longer distant shores, but one great big, beautiful and unified beach. In many cases, the “us and them” mentality through the recognition of the oneness of Humanity has become a “we”, but unfortunately, this connection also provides a higher platform for conflict and division.
There have ALWAYS been causes to speak up and do the right thing, however somewhere along the line we have confused being “spiritual” with being quiet, for example:
Accept and Allow…
“Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”
“But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.”
When another is being harmed or put at risk, we are co-signing and complicit if we remain silent.
Praying is good, sending positive thoughts and vibrations, great! But what is your ability to take ACTION? Can you do something about it? Can you speak up and speak out? And how do we gauge what is “truth” and what should we speak up about or against?
I assess it all on one thing, Compassion, that’s the unit of measure we should use, is it compassionate for ALL of mankind and not just some? Is this particular cause, action or reaction compassionate to all planetarians? If not, it is then our responsibility to speak up and speak out.
We are not separate. If we could take a look at ourselves from a “Google Earth” point of view and then some, we would be able to see that with 195 countries on this planet, the Earth’s land-mass surface only covers 30% of our globe AND that we are one of billions, upon billions UPON BILLIONS of planets in an ever expanding universe… WHAT on EARTH are we fighting about?
We are one another, we are each other, let us use compassion as our guide and remember our spiritual responsibility, if our aim is to be universally united, we must speak up, and speak out against our own ignorance, fear and superstition anything that divides, causes, suffering, hatred, or harm to any other being.
This is our responsibility, each and every one of us. If we choose to remain silent, we are cowardly complicit.
“Will there be a Third World War? ‘If you could foresee what I foresee, you would begin heart and soul to spread the teaching of universal brotherhood,’ HPB told an interviewer towards the end of her life. ‘It is the only safeguard!’”
